1. Primarily utilizing detrital zircon data from Vietnam, this study aims to elucidate the plausible link between the Jinsha River and the paleo-Red River. Furthermore, it seeks to investigate the underlying factors contributing to substantial drainage reorganization in northern Indochina throughout the Miocene to Pliocene epochs.
2. Utilizing detrital zircon data from Taiwan, this study endeavors to validate the possible correlation between the Yangtze River and the sediment sources within the East China Sea Shelf Basin and Taiwan.
